I purchased this filter to install in-line on my icemaker. It was to replace the bottled water service that I had before. The water tastes just as good as the bottled water and is much cheaper. Even if I get three years out of the filter it will be worth it. It comes packaged with two adapters so you can hook it up to 1/4" tubing.Customer Review: Good compact water filter.

It was relatively easy to install although I had to adjust the brass fittings on the output twice due to a small amount of water leakage. Water and ice taste great after replacement with this filter!Customer Review: Great filter, low maintenance

I installed one of these at my daughters house and it worked so well that when I got home, I ordered one for myself.
We decided to attach it to the cold side of the kitchen faucet since that's where we want to get our drinking water and didn't want to put in a dedicated tap. Good-bye Britta pitcher!
This filter gives great flow rate, and great water. VERY happy.

Just got done installing this product. After properly flushing the system, had a glass of water and is the best tasting water we've had since buying our fridge. The filter that came with the fridge, water had a nasty after taste. Not so with this filter. Price is a real steal. Filter that goes in fridge is more expensive and lasts six months if you are lucky.
