Tools and Hardware Reviews of Westinghouse Lighting 03490 Nanolux 1-Watt S11 LED Bulb, WhiteCustomer Review: Not worth it for a very low powered night light Summary: 1 Stars
It gives less light than a very low power night light. Personally, I really don't like the illumination/light provided by led lighting.
Also, after buying I went to my local hardware store that had exceptionally inexpensive led lighting of all kinds subsidized by Southern California Edison.
A plug in night light with a brighter output than this bulb for .49 cents. Screw in CFC (or whatever they are called) florescent bulbs for like a dollar (again local power company subsidized) and not the cheap knock of type found in local dollar stores that only last a short time.
Don't bother with this bulb unless you really need virtually no light for some unimaginable personal reason/use.
Customer Review: Perfect Night Light for Hallway Summary: 5 Stars
I have been looking for a low-wattage LED bulb for a night light that will be left on for most of its life. This product turns a hallway between bedrooms that would be pitch dark into an easily navigable area, and with little energy use and heat production.
This bulb will not light up a room like a standard bulb! Folks who gave it a bad review because it's too dim must not understand that this is a ONE Watt bulb with equivalent light output as a 7 Watt incandescent, which is pretty much a night light. This is made clear in the description.
Customer Review: Perfect little bulb! Summary: 5 Stars
I wanted these bulbs for one of those old-fashioned clocks. The clock needs two bulds, which are "on" 24/7. So I wanted only a little bit of light and the lowest possible wattage. After a few days my conclusion is that "they are perfect for the job"! I assume the bulbs last as long as they say. Only one thing to wish for. Can they make the same bulb giving a warmer glow?
Customer Review: Perfect replacement for 7-watt bulb of similar shape for stair lights Summary: 5 Stars
This bulb was a perfect replacement for a 7-watt incandescent bulb of similar shape and size. I have 5 recessed stair lights that use a medium-size base like this one and I was using 7-watt traditional bulbs in them. Those were burning out after a couple of months at $2.49 a pop. I expect these new LED bulbs to last much much longer.
Please, consider that the light you get for 1 watt is NOT going to be very much, and this is really more of a night light than anything. We like the dim light on the stairs and these are PERFECT for that application. HIGHLY recommended in that case!!
Customer Review: Tiny bulb good for a boat maybe very little light Summary: 1 Stars
I believe this bulb gives off the same amount of lumens as 1 watt incan. bulb but uses next to no energy.... give off maybe at best the same amount of light as a 2 watt bulb
