Customer Review: Big disappointment

Bought this exact model at our local Sam's Club this week. Installation was easy. I did verify with a meter the solar panel was working, and the battery was charging.
After a full day of charging during an almost cloudless day, attempted to test it that night. Flipping the switch to the test mode turned on the lights for several minutes. The lights are bright enough to illuminate a portion of my yard as intended. But the test mode didn't work once the lights turned off after a timed delay. Moving the switch to the auto mode did nothing.
A frustrating hour later, I removed it from the outside wall, and brought it indoors. Repeated the testing, with the house lights off, similar results. Just doesn't work, period.
I dug the box out of the garbage, found the receipt, taking it back. Wish I would have read the reviews here first. Would have saved the time & effort wasted so far, and the holes I now have to plug & paint in my house.
Junk, avoid. One star only because zero isn't an option!
