Customer Review: Best Stove Top Cleaner, Ever!

Everyone cooks in our home, so the stove is in near constant use. A great cleaner that is easy to use is a necessity. This product fits the bill.
I purchased this stovetop cleaner kit in an attempt to find a better cleaner than that which came with my Bosch glass top gas range. The Whirlpool 31605 Cooktop Care Kit, which contains cleaner, cleaning pads and a protectant with an applicator sponge, is far superior.
I opened the package immediately upon receiving it and tried it out with amazing results; cooked-on grime dissolved instantly. I waited to review it to assure this was not a fluke. I have been using it every day for nearly a month, including through the Christmas cooking.
The cleaner works wonderfully, loosening grime even before wiping with little scrubbing required. The scrub pads DO NOT scratch either the enamel burner rings or the glass top. The protectant makes clean up easier each time I use it. This also works beautifully on the stainless steel trim on the range.
I am very pleased to find this cleaner. I will continue to use it.

Just got a smooth cooktop so was very concerned about keeping it looking new. A protectant came with the cooktop and used it for a few days before I got this one home. World of difference!. The other one was ok..this one was much much better. I use it after every cooking after using the whirlpool cleaner(btw the other cleaners are just as good) and it gives the range a super clear shine and protects it really well for the next cooking. Stuff is also easier to remove esp burnt on stuff.I have a black range so every spot shows. Not with this protectant!. Highly recommend this!Customer Review: Burned cooktop burner.

We just replaced our 20-year-old electric range with a brand new one, including ceramic top, and I want to take really good care of it. This seemed like a good idea, and having tried it out, I still think it's a good idea. I bought this kit for my new Whirlpool double oven range with ceramic glass cooktop. This is my first glass cooktop so I really do not have anything to compare it to. However, I must say that I have used each item in this kit and they worked wonderfully!
After cooking dinner I had quite a bit of grease splatter that I had wiped up with a normal wet dishrag as I went along. Even though there was no actual "grease" on the cooktop, it still looked awful and streaked. The cleaner solved this problem completely and the protectant made it look brand new! The cleaner is thick and is much like waxing a car, but it is SO worth it! I do recommend buying a lot of microfiber rags/towels to use with this - it will make your life so much easier! I was also scared to use the little rough pads for the tough spots, but it immediately got rid of the spots with little to no effort and did not scratch the cooktop at all. All in all - great product and WELL worth the money!
