Although I ordered a Whirlpool filter, I received a Pur filter instead, which I opted not to purchase initially due to the disappointing reviews. The Pur filter was exactly as other reviewers noted: after about three weeks, the "filter" taste wore off and the water tastes "normal" again. All in all, I would buy this again, great price and very easy to install.
