When we first got our KitchenAid refrigerator, we bought the new purifiers at applicance parts websites. They cost an arm and a leg. A year or so back we discovered that Amazon offered these purifiers. The prices were much more reasonable. At first we try the Brita purifiers, but they left an unbearable plastic taste in the water.
