This is the same filter that you will find in the home improvement stores for 40 to 45 dollars. It is the one that filters out harmful chemicals as well as some common metals. I have purchased two of then so far and will buy many more as long as they are the same high quality filters. With a small child at home, we tend to drink a lot of water. This filter is the one recommended for our refrigerator, and works perfectly.
Pros: Super easy to install, removes everything you can think of, and leaves behind great tasting water.
Cons: None!
I can't bring myself to "loving" a water filter, but this one seems to do it all.

We have a Sears Kenmore refrigerator (made by Whirlpool) that we purchased from Sears. These filters are the same ones branded as Sears Kenmore that we paid $43.28 on 02-10-2008. The water tastes better than tap and has the same taste as when purchased the same filters from Sears. It arrived quickly as always from Amazon.
Paid $28.99 and shipping was free. Purchased on 03-28-2010 directly from Amazon.
