I'm a little bit paranoid about water filtration so I have various gadgets to check on them. This filter does not get the job done right. Let me elaborate a bit. As it's known the fridge pipes over time will accumulate salts and other minerals. This results many times in the form of a hazel like white floating substance in your water. Any good filter will be able to take care of this and clean it. However this is not the case with this filter. I wasn't expecting a RO quality membrane but these kind of particles should have been filtered.Customer Review: Does the job

I have only used these filters since I bought the new refrigerator. The work fine and have not had a problem. We use the water dispenser and ice machine daily and have not had a problem with these filters. I will continue to purchase these filters through Amazon. This fast-fill filter definitely makes a difference in the taste of our water. There are different "levels" of filter, this one seems to be the most deluxe, as it's slightly more expensive than other filters. As for the fast-fill, I can tell no difference at all. This was so easy to install. Just remember how the cap is oriented when you take the old filter out so you won't have to get on your belly to align it. Thanks to all the previous reviewers, I avoided any troubles. Also, I followed the instructions to flush the filter out for 4 minutes (watered all my plants) and didn't have any problems with funny tasting water or ice.
