We have had our Whirlpool 450 air purifier for a little more than 2 years, and find that these pre-filters last 3+ months as advertised.
We have also tried a "generic" replacement pre-filter, which worked fine. After switching back to these (as there was not much savings with the other, and they're not offered on Amazon), I realized that these Whirlpool filters have nice little "slits" that help them attach in the right spot inside the air purifier. (That being said, the slits also make it such that there is a definite "up" or "down" to the filters.)
This package of pre-filters arrived in a tidy box (convenient for storage). I'm sure we'll be back for more, as its tough to beat the price and quick shipping.

At first I was a little concerned with the quality for the price. I just got my order (earlier then estimated) and the quality looks no different then the ones I was using. I bought them for my Whirlpool AP450 and they fit fine. In my opinion this is a good deal. I will purchase again when the time comes.Customer Review: Exactly what I ordered
