These tables are wonderful for front loading washing machines as the front loaders tend to hold water in between loads. These tablets get rid of the sour smell and any mildew which may be forming in the machine. I have been using Affresh in my Maytag washer about every 6 weeks for years. It works great every time. The only thing I have to do extra is take a paper towel or two and wipe out the washing machine tub after I run the Affresh through it. The reason is, the Affresh flushes all this dirt that has been hiding through out my washer. The whole washer smells clean after. I can't think of an easier way to clean and deodorize my washer! I am having a hard time finding it in stores so I was glad to find it on line.Customer Review: Affresh works great!

Affresh really works. Although my front-load Maytag washer did not have a smell, I just thought it needed some sort of cleaning after all the heavy usage we give it. I used to clean my old top-load Kenmore by periodically running a hot wash with a small amount of detergent (and no clothing), and that seemed to keep it fresh. I find that using one Affresh tablet is sufficient to clean the washer and leave a light, pleasant fragrance.
