Worked great! Used with Pro Pest moth traps and the problem was gone in a month! Since buying new clothes I need to start the process again ... problem with imported fabric. 2009 on the Front Range is a "Miller moth" year. They weren't expected in more than their usual numbers this year, but here they are: everywhere. In principle, it seems quite right to work toward harmony among all creatures; in practice, it's not going to happen for Miller moths and me at my house.
After failing to succeed with non-aerosol formulas such as a bowl of soapy water, I found this product. Its label is entirely unambiguous: KILLS MOTHS.
Although that might be true, the bodies aren't collecting in or near the house. What seems to be happening instead is that moths simply don't come inside. Following the can's recommendation, I spray around any openings such as screens, window sills and doorways: nothing else. And that seems to be enough.
So whether it kills moths or simply deters them isn't clear to me. All I really care is that we've gotten some relief from a bad time with the Miller moths, and it seems all to be down to SLA.

This product is advertised as "safe" but if you look up its main active ingredient comprising 20% of its formula, Pyrethrin, you'll see warnings you may want to know so you can use it carefully. Including a link to autism in children when Pyrethrin is used by pregnant women (it's found in dog's flea shampoo too). I bought this spray to use in our storage unit due to a moth infestation there, but I personally don't plan on spraying it on blankets, sweaters and coats in our home we would use more immediately and touch our skin and enter our lungs.Customer Review: No more holes

My mom used to buy moth proof spray from the Fuller Brush man but I haven't seen any around. When I found this spray I was excited because it smells nice yet it got good reviews for keeping moths away. I could not live with out SLA. It is a cedar scented spray that keeps moths out of closets, bugs out of house and when you spray it on your clothing (it will not stain) it deodorizes them plus giving your clothing
a fresh scent. It keeps moths out of sweaters and all clothing.
I cannot say enough about SLA. It is the best!!!!!
