Let's say you have several devices that have little power transformers that, when you plug them in to an electrical outlet, they block adjacent outlets. Use this little one foot extension cord. It takes up only one space in your power outlet instead of blocking an adjacent power outlet. Simple. Does not clutter as would a longer extension cord and it has a grounding terminal in case your device (transformer in my case) has a three prong plug. Order more than you need right now. I have used this particular brand before and was pleased to find that Amazon carries them now. Good quality at a great price. I use them at home at at work, especially around the computer so I can plug all the power adapters into one power strip instead of having to have three or four power strips because each big clunky transformer takes up two to three spaces on the strip. I've been using these for years and have never had a problem with one.
