...went back to "knocking," as I was getting false positives all over the wall. As a previous reviewer stated, insulated or, in my case, townhouse 'party wall systems' seem to give bad readings with this $29.98 paperweight. Hopefully I'll be able to return it.
As for the "AC Sensor," I am framing an area in the garage where I plan to build my work bench...wiring an outlet...put a piece of sheetrock up and tried to detect the AC, which was hot...detected it about 3 feet away...and nothing over the wiring...food for thought.
