This item is amazing! From the first run I was hooked and I felt my life changing. We have hardwood floors and tile in the main areas and two bedrooms with pretty worn down carpet (will be replaced sometime soon). This little beauty works like a charm! The only complaint is that it is a little loud however we seem to have found a solution. We set to clean when we "close up" the house and get into bed to read/watch tv before falling asleep. Then we have the bedroom and office done during the day. Works like a charm!

I ordered 2 of these for X-mas gifts and I bought early so I had them for months before I wrapped and delivered them. One of the 2 I had ordered had no charger in the box.
Other than having to order a charger, I have no complaints.
I bought this since my folks and in-laws both have indoor pets. This irobot dirt dog will pick up pet hair and most debris from a smooth type floor (linoleum, concrete, wood, etc...).
I will buy more of these as gifts and for my home, but will open the boxes immediately to ensure everything is in the package.

We received this Dirt Dog Robot as a Christmas present from our son. Our Great room/Dining room has newly installed laminate floor. I'm not a poet (as I'm sure you'll agree), but I was so pleased I was inspired (with apologies to Clement Moore)...
T'was the night after Christmas and all through the house
The aftermath of the Holiday vexed me and my spouse.
The laminate floor recently laid with such care
Most definitely knew that Santa and grandchildren had been there.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
A Dirt Dog criss-croosing the floor with good cheer.
It traveled the room like a friendly beast
In search of its own peculiar feast.
To make a long story short,
The Dirt Dog is resting at its recharging port,
And the floor's good as new
Free from Christmas residue.
