Tools and Hardware Reviews of iRobot 110 Dirt Dog Workshop RobotCustomer Review: Dirt Dog Summary: 4 Stars
I am very pleased with my new Dirt Dog. I live in Ecuador in a house with tile floors and I have two dogs who shed constantly. We also get a lot of insects (scorpions and beetles) and the Dirt Dog cleans them up nicely. I am puzzled as to why IRobot doesn't sell them here- they are missing out on a good market. My neighbors love to come watch the "Dog" perform.

The Dirt Dog arrived promptly and performed as advertised.
It is entertaining to watch the machine get itself into areas of the shop which almost trap it, but it keeps going until if finds a way out.
In several areas of my shop I have 1/2" cushion pads to ease foot and leg strain. The Dirt Dog doesn't do well with them, so I put them up to avoid the issue.
A maid would do a slightly better job, but the Dirt Dog is more entertaining and much cheaper!

I am very happy with this product. I got it to clean up our basement. It picks up all the cat litter and all sorts of stuff. Our basement is very cluttered and difficult to vacuum. I like just starting Dirt Dog off and going down later to plug it back in. It is nice to see the clean carpet! The only problem is that it can be difficult to find it after it is finished. It cleans both the carpet and the unfinished cement. The large bin holds quite a bit but I have had to empty it half way through

I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend as a way to clean my hard wood floors. It is everything I had hoped it would be. I have not used it anywhere but inside but I expect when I get around to cleaning the garage and basement it will not let me down!
Customer Review: Dirt Dog Picks up dirt! Summary: 4 Stars
I received the iRobot Dirt Dog vacuum cleaner as a Christmas gift. After about a week, I'd say it really does pick up dirt and lots of it.
Short comings:
1. It is a little noisy.
2. It keeps getting hung up on door sills. There doesn't seem to be any adjustment available to lower the front bumper so it won't get hung up on the sills.
3. The instructions say to clean the vacuum cleaner after only three uses. This is an exceptionally onerous task given that it must be taken outside and blown out with air pressure.
Strengths:
1. It does what it is supposed to do, picks up dirt.
2. It is easy to use.
3. It cleans under furniture, work benches, etc.
4. It's cute!
