Unit had problems from the manufacture.
Service response was terrible, tech had very poor english.
Took five calls over seven days to get any answers, finally had to give up on the mess.

The previous owners had not cleaned the gutters in our new home for well over a year. And a few days before we received the Looj it had rained heavily. I figured stuffed, wet gutters would give the Looj more than it could handle. But that was not the case. The "little guy" performed absolutely beautifully. It got out the dried leaves, the wet leaves, the small sticks, and the accumulation of grit from the roof shingles. It turned what would have been a miserable three plus hour job by hand into a fun and painless 40 minutes. Note that for tough clogs like this you cannot simply have the Looj plow through. You must work it forward and backward as the directions suggest. It takes a bit to get the hang of the technique but once you do it works fine. I don't know why some of the other reviewers had trouble, but from my experience, THE LOOJ WORKS!Customer Review: Much improved over the original model

First let me say that the iRobot is a great tool that saves you time and effort. I got the one with only one battery, so if you have quite a bit of gutter length I recommend you get at least two batteries. Also...not having a charge light indicator seems strange to me. Overall, it's a nice tool that needs a couple tweaks to really be a great tool. Mine also kept cutting out/stalling when I was using it even after a full charge. It also could use a little more range with the remote. Mine stopped working at around 25 feet. Other remote cars, etc seem to have better range...I would think they could design this to have more than 25 ft range. Some of my gutter lengths are right at 30 ft.
Again...it really helped me on the very tall sections of my house....nice job iRobot. Just make those changes and you'll have a better tool.
