I am 67 years old and have health problems that make mopping a REAL problem. The scooba is a dream come true for me. My floors have not been this clean in a long time. The advertisement is absolutely true in that it does not move dirty water from place to place, but cleans it as it goes. It takes me less than 5 minutes to clean and put it back on the charger. How easy is that? If mopping is a problem for you, this is the cleaner for you. The cost of scooba is a lot in the beginning, but looking at clean white ceramic floors is worth the money.Customer Review: Clean floors at last

I live in the desert in a house with 1,800 sq ft. of ceramic tile - white tile. Every day I pick an area and let little Scooba loose. When I come home from work, that area of the house is sparkling clean. I may consider purchasing an additional battery and run it at night too, because it takes several hours to charge, and I seldom go back to run it late at night. I have dogs, and on one occasion the brush got tangled up with dog hair, but because of the construction of the brush and its holder, it was easy to clear the tangle.Customer Review: Clean white sox was my test

Even though we have 3 floor sweeping Irobot roombas, I was skeptical when I ordered the scooba. My test was to use it on my kitchen floor which gets the most wear and tear, dirt, flour, spillage etc. I followed the instructions and let her go. Once it stopped cleaning and the floor was dry to the last area done, I walked all over with clean white sox. Then I carefully inspected the sox. I was amazed and extremely happy!
After 2 yrs the batteries wore out and I had to scrub the floor with a mop and in areas on my hands and knees. With a bad back and sore knees this was a real chore and really convinced me that I needed to get those batteries replaced asap! So I did and now my Scooba works as good as new! I love the thing and would replace it completely before going back to cleaning with a mop again! It does far better than any mop I've tried.

This little machine does a wonderful job of cleaning/drying floors. Mine stopped working at approximately the 13th month. I used this for in-between the times I washed my floors by hand, all in all it was used no more than a dozen times. I am disabled and have three large dogs. Keeping the floors clean is a challenge. Not keeping them clean is....yuck. I run the GREEN dog romba every day and scooba a room each day. They do a great job and I save energy for other things. I use the scooba on my wood floors with a oil-free wood floor cleaner recommended by the installer. I did have trouble getting the scooba started. But customer service walked me through the start up and I was on my way!
P.S. Do not expect a perfect job, DO expect a good job.
