Tools and Hardware Reviews of iTouchless Fully Automatic White Color Touchless Trashcan SX, 13 Gallon (52 Liter)Customer Review: Convenient, but a little loud. Summary: 4 Stars
I really like the no-touch feature, it keeps bad smells out of the kitchen. Also love the white color, hard to find this with other trash cans. It is louder than I expected and tends to make the cats scared to go near the trash. Definately would buy again and recommened.
Customer Review: Finally tamed Summary: 3 Stars
I got the tape around the inside rim to cover the teeth. I peeled all the labels out slowly. I put a plastic clear left-over cake cover (store bought square tray) as the liner for this trash can. The rectangular shape clear plastic cover is great. You cannot see the plastic yet it will catch all the drippings from leaked stuff. I also double bag the can and place some paper towel on the bottom. With a hard wood floor, I cannot risk messing up with leaks.
Customer Review: Good concept, not great performance Summary: 3 Stars
I loved the old touchless trash can (slightly smaller, lid flips up) and liked the space-saving horizontal opening idea of this newer one, but it didn't work out very well. The lid on this newer model slides open too slowly to be practical, so I'm often standing with a handful of garbage, waiting for the sensor. A couple of times, I've accidentally sprinkled flour, crumbs or a drip of something wet on the lid while waiting for it to open. Works decently, but I'd never buy another of this model. Perhaps it works faster with the AC adapter.
Customer Review: Huge Disappointment! Summary: 1 Stars
This trashcan is the most diificult, useless thing I have ever owned!! The lip on the can tears open the bag EVERY time I empty it!!!! So, now I am double-bagging my trash and am ready to put this in the trash as well! All you can throw in the can are paper towels and junk mail. Everyhting else rips the bag. BEWARE!!!!
Customer Review: Perfect Kitchen Trash Can Summary: 5 Stars
I was searching everywhere for a white metal kitchen garge can. This is the perfect complement to our recently renovated kitchen. The 13 gallon size is standard for a kitchen trash can. So far it works great with the D batteries. May consider buying the adapter in future, but definitely not a necessity. Highly recommend over any standard white plastic kitchen garbage can.
