I don't know how much room you have on the kitchen counter top for dishracks but this one will need a lot of it because it is quite large. I returned it and got the 'compact' simplehuman dishrack instead which is just right for the space I have and does not have the draining and seepage problems that other reviewers have mentioned.Customer Review: Top of the line

This is a nice piece. Looks good, works great, high quality. Love the knife holder. The bottom has little flip down feet in the corners. It angles the bottom for draining. The side hangers are good for small glasses. The only problem is that water will not completely drain so you get the white scale from evaporating water. No biggie. I bought the classic design dish rack,from rubbermaid, at Target and it was easily stained and a chore to clean. I put up with it for about a year. Then I got the KT1025 from simple human. At first, I thought it was expensive, but after unpacking and setting it up. I was convinced the KT1025 was well worth it. The design and materials used are first class. I cursed my Rubbermaid dish rack daily for years because our wooden handled steak knives and other utensils continually fell out of the top of the cutlery container. I even wrote the company to suggest they spend a penny or two more and make that basket deeper, but to no avail! Finally, I turned to Amazon.com who has all things wonderful, including honest and detailed reviews, and found this marvelous dish rack. I, too, balked at paying the price for this item and, had it not been for the great reviews, I would have passed on it. I am so glad I listened to the reviewers. Wow, what a great purchase! I can arrange the rack in different directions and configurations, and the knife rack/cutlery area is perfect. Water drains easily and accurately from the tray, and all components are easy to disassemble and clean. The dish area is great and holds various sizes and thicknesses of plates, bowls, etc. upright with ease. We use both our dishwasher and dish rack almost daily, and so far, this dish rack has proved to be one of the best buys I have ever made. In fact, I am purchasing another. This looked like the best dish drain you could buy, so I decided to purchase it even if it were more expensive then whatI wanted to spend.I was so happy when it arrived. I put my dishes into it to drain..and drain it did.all over the counter top.So......... I moved it this way and that way and still water, water everywhere...so now I put a dish towel under it so I don't have to wipe up my kichen floor after doing dishes. And forget about sending it back, the postage would make this even more expensive.AmI mad?.you bet I am.....
