Tools and Hardware Reviews of simplehuman KT1025 System Stainless-Steel Dish RackCustomer Review: Well worth the extra $ Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this several years ago when the model was slightly different, but it's still basically the same. The fact that I've been using it for several years should tell you something! When I visit other people's kitchens, I never like their racks as much as this one. This one drains properly, with a rigid base and feet to help you tilt it, it's configurable with different cupholders or silverware containers, it doesn't get discolored, it doesn't bend under the weight of a tall stack of dishes, and it's roomy enough for an enthusiastic cook.
Customer Review: Worth it - best dishrack ever Summary: 5 Stars
I hesitated about spending so much on a dishrack, but it's much, much better than my old Ikea model. Highlights...
-Glass/cup hangers on the outside, giving you extra room inside the rack
-Spacious. Lots of room for dinner dishes for 4
-Plate holders that really hold (mine used to fall over all the time)
-Slanted drainage pan, so you don't get stagnant water under your dishes
-Separate knife holder. In addition to the regular cutlery holder, the knife holder separates each knife (point down) to prevent dulling, and cutting yourself
Customer Review: Worth the money Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little hesitant to spend so much on a dishrack. However, after reading other reviews and knowing that Simplehuman makes great products, I bought it on Amazon. It was cheaper on here than in stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond. I have had it for over two weeks and I wash dishes several times a day. I stay home with two young kids-so you can imagine. I love absolutely everything about it. The water drains perfectly down the spout (I use the legs to put it on an incline too). The plates sit great and don't fall down. And overall it looks nice in the kitchen and stays clean. I would definitely invest in this product if you will be doing dishes on a regular basis and want a quality product that will last.
Customer Review: Wow. Summary: 5 Stars
Fantastic. Unpacked it and couldn't stop thinking, "Wow."
Solid, big without being overbearing. Can't really see how well the holder for silverware drains in the picture, but even though it hangs over the edge of the base, the bottom is tilted so it drains over the base and thus to the sink. There are retractable feet like on the bottom of a keyboard, so you can raise up the edge farthest away from the sink to facilitate draining. And the small half circle extension spout makes the water drain far enough away from the whole unit without it having to hang over the edge of the sink itself.
VERY well designed and I can't wait to start using it tonight because I was so fed up with the little piece of junk plastic thing I used to have.
Worth every penny and a few more. No longer do I have to do plates first then silverware (old one if you filled silverware first, would tip the whole unit into the sink).
Customer Review: best dish rack ever Summary: 5 Stars
i just got my dish rack and i'm ready to give up my dishwasher (not really!!!). it not only looks good on my counter, but is designed so well, that i was actually happy doing pots and knives tonight. i have so many items that i can't put in my dishwasher and this is perfect. i will be back to re-rate this in the event i start to find rust which is the downfall of all of the dish racks i've had in the past.
